My background is primarily comprised of B2B start-up experiences, and this kind of environment is where I thrive. I enjoy moving fast, dreaming big, and untangling complex problems. I am able to work quickly without compromising depth on projects ranging in scale from long-term, visionary work to detailed, technical implementation specifications.
I approach solutioning from a deep understanding of the underlying problem, never relying on existing approaches to dictate how things must be. This kind of innovative thinking has recently resulting my being the primary inventor on two patents pending from solutions I designed in my current role at Kandji.
meaning and impact
My current career stage is all about finding a company where I can feel my contributions are having meaningful, positive impact on users. I also find meaning and impact in mentorship opportunities and love to help more junior designers develop their craft, voice, and careers.
Paradise living!
I live in the Coachella Valley, California- the small but mighty desert home of Stagecoach, the Palm Springs International Film Festival, and the BNP Paribus Open, to name a few of my faves. My husband and I are the proud parents of 3 cats and a leopard gecko named Reeves (after Keanu). When I'm not designing, I enjoy tennis, surfing, and exploring local spots in our converted van.
